Ebeanstalk.com literally has every gift for every child from newborn to 12+ years. It is like having the most amazing toy shop, at your finger tips. I am utterly amazed with their selection of brands and products. We are currently shopping for our 2 yr old birthday party in March and Ebeanstalk.com makes my head spin with all the amazing options! If my husband would allow it, I could totally go broke shopping here (and well Little Miss Savanah would be way spoiled too!!)

I think the site is so well organized, from the very front page that you enter. They have broken their toys down by age on the left side, so that you can go right to the age appropriate items for your child. They even have a nifty feature titled “Birthday Reminders’ on the right side of the home page – which will keep track of birthdays of your family & friends! How amazing is that? They have thought of everything to keep their page organized and eay to navigate including links for ‘Learning Toys’, ‘Top Sellers’, ‘Whats New’ and ‘Great Gift Ideas’ (listed also by age group)! They even have downloadable coloring pages – now that is a great idea to have. You can print them right out and let your kids color while you shop!!!!

Another way they make your shopping easier is that you can search by category, toys by age, grow & learn series, brands, wish list or even get expert advice. All this and I haven’t even starting ‘SHOPPING’ yet :o)

My first trip around the site I started with the BABY TOYS and it does not just take you to a over load of toys right away. You can sort between boy, girl & top selling BABY TOYS. I clicked on the GIRL selection (as I have a friend with a 3 month old baby girl) and VIOLA! Toys for baby girls galore! They have some of the most unique toys, to some simplified, but amazing education items as well. I had to tell you what my favorite baby girl item was that I found

The Ladybird Playmat is filled with bright colors and fun activities. Its a fabulous baby toy that will stimulate your little one with the ladybug rattle, a butterfly with crinkly wings, a flower squeaker, a ladybug squeaker, a flower mirror, and bees that velcro on and off. I am a huge ladybug fan for my daughter & this is something I would have loved to had when she was an infant

I also searched through a couple of Ebeanstalk.com 's other age catagories: TOYS FOR 1 YEAR OLD BOYS & TOYS FOR 1 YEAR OLD GIRLS as well, to get a few ideas on upcoming birthdays in the family! They have such a HUGE selection that I will have to come back to the site to narrow my selections down! I am in awe of the selection!

Seriously, their SHOPPING CART is really simple to navigate thru, and that makes it so easy for any parent! When I added this item to my shopping cart, the page even gave me a code to enter to qualify for free shipping. I don’t know any sites that do that!

I will definitely be shopping at Ebeanstalk.com in the future. They have an amazing selection of unique & educational toys.

Swiffer Sweeper Vac Review

I was sent the New Swiffer Sweeper Vac to take the Double-Action Clean Challenge!

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES:
I was very excited to have received this Swiffer Sweeper Vac. I wanted to use it immediately, but I had to start out by charging it for 8-12 hours to get the battery fully charged! It was super easy to put together (just the handle pieces came un-assembled), the instructions were simple to understand & was pretty much self explanatory.

In my Double Action Clean Challenge kit I received the following: Swiffer Sweeper Vac Started Kit (1 Cordless Vacuum Sweeper, 2 Dry Sweeping Cloths, 1 Replacement Filter & 1 Recharger), Refill box of the Dry Sweeping Cloths & Containers of ‘sample floor items’ such as cereal, food crumbs, synthetic hair & dirt. The instructions inside the kit were simple & fun! It basically stated to empty the contents & sweep away! How fun is that they have made cleaning more fun & easy.

Once I had my Swiffer Sweeper Vac fully changed it went to town in my own home, first with the package contents then on my real kitchen/bathroom floors! It picks up dry items like nothing. I was disgusted the 1st time I looked at the dry sweeping cloth …. It was filthy after just one go around in my small kitchen & bathroom YUCK!!!! Luckily you can just throw the cloth away after each use and not have to see the filth LOL!!!

The Swiffer Sweeper Vac handles very easy, it just takes a little getting used to, but not much. I just had to learn to not put pressure on it. It glides easily on hard floors, with very little effort! The Swiffer Sweeper Vac is on a pivoted handle. It picks up crumbs, dirt, dry food & hair with no problems at all! The dry cleaning cloth picks up all that little stuff that floats around every floor, such as dust, dead skin cells, hair ect. One thing I love best about this is that it is cordless, and rechargeable. I am rather forgetful and realize it needs charged in the middle of cleaning OOPS! There is a light on the power button - when it is green, the Swiffer Sweeper Vac is ready to go & when it is blinking red, it is time for a charge! It is a great way to clean the floors without breaking your back to do it!!!

I, however, have a toddling 22 month old that has learned the art of independance & feeding herself, and I have QUICKLY learned that the Swiffer Sweeper Vac does not pick up wet items such as cheese, green beans, pizza toppings, chunks of meat, or fruit – which is very disappointing for this momma! I still have to get on the floor several times a day with a small broom / dustpan and or a wet rag or mop solution!

After a few months of using this item & buying the wet pads for it, I realized that it just takes up more space than is useful. The wet pads are very messy to put on & off and have a chemical smell to them that would stink up my house for hours! The pads seem to not collect as much dirt as i would have anticipated! It didnt seem to hold a charge for long, and stoppped picking up as much with each use. Also I realized it was lightweight, but still a bit bulky to store / use in small spaces (closets/bathrooms)

Over all this is a OK item to have around the house – IT retails for approximately $40 and can be found at such store at Wal-Mart. It has been mommy tested!

Undercover Mama Review

This is not just another nursing top! Undercover Mama is an amazing &very functional MUST-HAVE item to have if you are a nursing mom! Undercover Mama attaches right to your nursing bra, and covers up the ‘un wanted places/skin’ that you don’t want to show off to others. No more worrying about if your ‘post baby body’ is showing as you nurse in public!!! That is a great feeling!!!

I know that when I first starting nursing, I HATED to have to nurse in public – It made me super uncomfortable. I would feel like an outsider and go to another room, out to the car, or hide in a rest room if needed. Even with my nursing cover that I had purchased, it was still something that I was not accepting of! The nursing cover was NOT LONG EOUGH to cover my lower back OR my belly. And seeing as I just had a baby, showing off my belly area was NOT AN OPTION. I definitely had to get used to nursing in public, but I was never comfortable with it fully. I always had to carry a big blanket with me, and if we were at a restaurant I would made sure we were seated in a booth or in a corner so that my back was not exposed!

…. Then I came across Undercover Mama, and WOW what a difference it made! It is an extra layer for extra protection of your skin, so that it does not show. It is made to help nursing moms feel more comfortable while nursing. The Undercover Mama is basically a snug fitting tank top minus the straps. In place of the straps are connectors that just connect right to your nursing bra. So when you un-snap your nursing bra to nurse, the Undercover Mama will fold down with your cup. It is simple to connect to your bra, un-snap, or take it off for the wash!
I slept in this, was in it pretty much 24 hours a day (except the couple times a week when it went to the washer). I loved sleeping in it, because throughout the middle-of-the-night-feedings, I would not fully pull the covers as normal (safety … because I had a baby next to me!!!). So having the Undercover Mama on at night would keep me snug & warm still!! (kept me warmer in the winter & surprisingly cooler in the warmer months)

It is so simple to use & wear. I always tease my husband that I will NEVER wear a tube top type shirt ever again, so when I received the Undercover Mama shirt, it was an ongoing joke. It is definitely not a tube top, but as I would get out of the shower I would throw on a nursing bra & my Undercover Mama on, while I decided on a shirt for that day! I felt comfortable walking around the house with the blinds open; I never felt naked while wearing this shirt!
I loved every single feature about it. It was comfortable & made of soft fabric. It was made to last day in & day out. It was made with care & quality! The company was great to work with and specialize in this product! They have several color options. This was an e everyday essential for me (no matter what color I was wearing that day!!!) One silly feature that turned out to be a great thing for me is the fact that it did not sit right at/under my arm pits and never rubbed my deodorant off! That being said, I never had to worry about it looking or feeling like it had build up!
*** And another thing, wearing my Undercover Mama boosted my self esteem as a mommy and a person – that in itself is an amazing feature!!!!

I do have 2 (small & silly) complaints:
1) I should have ordered more than 1 and
2) I should have ordered them sooner.
And those are only complaints because I fell in love with my Undercover Mama as soon as I started wearing it! Savanah was about 10 months old when I received it & was able to 100% nurse her until she was almost 15 months old. I will definitely pack my Undercover Mama up with my nursing pumps, bras & newborn clothing. This will be an essential from day 1 with our 2nd child (and there are no plans for another child right away). My Undercover Mama will be packed in the hospital bag for the next delivery for sure!!!! I will definitely miss wearing my Undercover Mama!!!

Welcoming myself back!!!!

Wow, I cannot believe we finally have internet back at HOME!!! This is a great way to re-start my blog; it has been way too long!!!!

So I will give you, my readers, A short but sweet explanation:
We moved back to Ohio to be closer to our family, and so our daughter (now almost 2 yrs old) could be raised with her family close-by! Well, when we agreed to a house (via emails & phone conversations only) we did not realize that we could not get internet - and dial up was not an option - satellite was way too expensive, so we just went without. That was so so sad for me to accept that I could not continue my blog. Once that was settled, this momma had to go back to 'work' outside the home, with an actual paycheck. I went to working in a factory, not my 1st choice but there were definitely people there that made it worthwhile! We also decided to go with a wireless broadband, no contract, USB type of internet. Most the times it works decent and sometimes it works no better than dial up. It is cheap enough, so we didn’t have anything to lose. We have had the internet going for about a month now!

Well New Years brought new issues: My awesome husband was bumped to night shift, which is a 12 hr shift where he works, and we were down to one car + our shifts would overlap and create more stress. Since my job was temporary, didn’t pay great, and there was no room for growth, we decided that we needed to pull Savanah out of daycare (which was super hard because she LOVES it) and I had to quit my job.

That all being said, I am now back to being a stay at home mommy & wife. Some days are harder than I remember, but the others are so amazing to watch her grow. Since I am now staying at home, I can start on my online passion, my blog, once again!!!!

I look forward fantastic products to review for you all! I was looking back on my dates on here: I originally started this blog in January 2010 (with the previous name) and coming on Feb 24, will be my 1 yr BABY GIRL APPROVED anniversary. I am determined to get back in the game by that date! Please help to support me and push me to get this ball rolling!!! Tell me the companies you would like me to review. I want to post about topics & products that YOU want!!! And please maybe just maybe help me get my follower numbers up so that I can grow grow GROW!!!

Hey all! The move has went well & We are LOVING the new place ALL EXCEPT FOR the fact of NO INTERNET yet. On top of that we have learned that we cannot get cable high speed OR DSL at the new place. What a pain to have to go back to dial up! I don't think our laptop OR desktop have modems to support dial up, sad & funny too I guess.
